Lady Gaga Stops Concert Over Fighting Fans
Lady Gaga does not like fans to fight at her shows. EOnline.com reports that she stopped her show on Tuesday night at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center after seeing one fan strike another. Gaga said, quote, "Stop the music. Stop fighting. Do not fight at this show." After a pause, the pop superstar asked if both fans were alright. She then apologized to the crowd of "Little Monsters," who applauded Gaga's peacekeeping efforts. She told her audience her show is all about "love and unity and happiness." At that same show, Gaga teamed up with New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg, who sold private suite tickets to the concert to benefit his political campaign. Lady Gaga is up for a record-breaking 13 nominations at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards. The VMAs will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, September 12th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
