Buckcherry Prefers To Bring Music -- Not Spectacle -- To The Stage
Buckcherry's Keith Nelson admits his band doesn't bring a lot of bells and whistles to the stage, and he concedes that fans probably like all the visual components some groups incorporate into their concerts. But the guitarist says Buckcherry has always been focused on the music, which he believes is why the band can deliver such a strong show on their own.
But next week Buckcherry will launch a six-week tour with Nickelback, who is known for putting a lot of extras into their performances. Nelson doesn't offer any specifics, but notes that for the trek, quote, "we'll probably be adding some stuff to keep it interesting." The road trip, which also features Three Days Grace, begins in Nashville on Tuesday. Buckcherry also has a couple dates coming up this weekend. The band will be at the Cherokee Motorcycle Rally in Cherokee, North Carolina on Friday, and perform in Noblesville, Indiana on Saturday. |
