Local TV station To Go High Def
(Rochester, NY) -- Starting on Monday, residents will be able to get their local television news in high definition. WHAM-TV channel 13 will start broadcasting all of its newscasts in HD. It is the first station in the Rochester market to have all of its news in high definition. The ABC affiliate poured one-million dollars into the upgrade, which includes better picture and sound quality. The station also plans to debut new graphics and logos for the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts as part of an overall makeover.< |
