Rochester Firefighter Laid To Rest
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester firefighters have said goodbye to one of their own. Funeral services were held yesterday for Lieutenant Paul Skelly who died over the weekend after losing his battle with cancer. Skelly become one of Chili's bravest back in 1979 rising to the rank of lieutenant before moving over to the Rochester department in 1994. During his career he was credited with resuscitating a ten-month-old infant in 1998 and preventing a person from committing suicide in 2002. Funeral services were held at Saint Pius the Tenth Church on Chili Avenue. |
