Rochester Business Owner Pleads Guilty To Bathroom Filming
(Rochester, NY) -- A Rochester business owner has admitted that he secretly recorded employees in the bathroom. Prosecutors say 54-year-old Dayne Kofod of Spencerport pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge of attempted second-degree unlawful surveillance. Authorities say he hid a digital camera in the restroom of his tool and die shop called Machine Craft on Lincoln Avenue. Kofod had been facing a felony count but decided to plead guilty a week before his trial was set to begin. In exchange for the plea, Kofod is expected to be sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service at the next court date on October 26th.
