Rochester Police Investigate Murder
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester police continue investigating the fatal shooting of a 50-year-old man. Cops say Darryl Boswell's body was found in an alley near Iceland Park just after 6:30 Wednesday morning. Investigators say Boswell was shot in the head. Detectives are trying to retrace his steps for the 24 hours prior to his murder hoping to uncover some clues as to who is responsible. Police Chief David Moore says he is frustrated with a string of three murders in that area in the past four-and-a-half years since he has been chief. Moore says he has beefed up security in the southwest section of the city but says he is disappointed with the latest incident. Anyone with information is urged to call police. |
