Ne-Yo Says Beyonce Collaboration "Coming Along Nicely," Says He Isn't Engaged
R&B singer Ne-Yo says his new collaboration with pop superstar Beyonce is "coming along nicely." He tells AccessAtlanta.com, quote, "I can't speak too much on it, but it's another direction for her, and she's carving out her own niche. In a minute, nobody will be in Beyonce's lane. They really can't get in her lane now, but they really can't get in her lane after this album." Ne-Yo has worked with Beyonce before, having written her Billboard Hot 100 number-one single "Irreplaceable."
The singer-songwriter also shoots down rumors that he is engaged. Ne-Yo says, quote, "There is no engagement. I wish everybody would stop saying that." He adds that his first child is due in January and is "very healthy."
The UK's "Sun" tabloid reported last month that the vocalist said he has a friend and not a girlfriend. Ne-Yo says, quote, "She's carrying my child but knows I can't commit. She doesn't mind other women." |
