Lady Gaga Angers PETA With Raw Meat Photo
Pop star Lady Gaga is angering animal rights organization PETA with her appearance on the cover of Japan's "Vogue" magazine for men. The singer appears on the cover wearing nothing but strategically-placed cuts of raw meat. PETA President Ingrid Newkirk tells the "New York Daily News," quote, "Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body." Gaga posted the controversial photo on her Twitter feed Tuesday morning. She previously received high marks from PETA when the organization learned that the polar bear fur she lights on fire in her "Bad Romance" music video was fake. |
