Teens Accused In Mosque Disruption Could Face More Charges
(Holley, NY) -- The Orleans County teens accused of disrupting services at a mosque could face additional charges. That's according to the Orleans County DA who is debating possible charges of aggravated harassment and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. Investigators say the four teens from Holley allegedly honked their car horns, shouted obscenities and fired a shotgun outside the World Sufi Foundation Mosque in Carlton. Authorities say one of the worshippers was allegedly hit by one of the cars. The two 18 year olds and two 17 year-olds currently face misdemeanor counts of disrupting a religious service. |
