While it's Labor Day weekend in America, Keith Urban will be celebrating a different holiday. The singer plans to mark Father's Day with his daughter Sunday Rose on Sunday. September 5th is when dads get their day in Australia and New Zealand, where the singer is from. Urban chose against celebrating the U.S. Father's Day back in June, because it fell on wife Nicole Kidman's birthday.
Darryl Worley and Holly Williams are among the stars on the Grand Ole Opry this weekend. Worley will join John Conlee, Little Jimmy Dickens, Billy Dean, Jean Shepard, and other Opry greats for Friday's performance. Williams, the Steeldrivers, Jim Ed Brown, George Hamilton the Fourth, and Ashton Shepherd are some of the artists on Saturday's lineup. Both shows will take place at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. |
