Seneca County Sheriff's Deputy Charged With DWI
(Waterloo, NY) -- A Seneca County Sheriff's deputy has been charged with drunk driving. Authorities say 29-year-old Jason Lanphear was off duty when he lost control of his car just before 5 Monday morning. Investigators say the vehicle left the road at the intersection of Burgess Road and State Route 318 and landed in a field. Police say Lanphear fled the scene but was tracked down at his home. He faces a DWI charge and has been put on administrative leave while the case is pending. |
