Lindsay Lohan Slams Father, Talks Career In "Vanity Fair"
Actress Lindsay Lohan is slamming her father and talking about her career in the new issue of "Vanity Fair." In the interview, the 24-year-old opens up about the antics that landed her in a Los Angeles jail last month, but also lays into her father, Michael, for failing to be there for her family. Lohan says of being in court, quote, "The worst part of it is you turn around and you see your dad crying and normally you'd be, like, happy that your father's there. But then he has to go and do an interview right after." Lohan says she's committed to getting her career back on track, even if it means no more partying. She says, quote, "I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it."
The actress also admits her partying was "irresponsible." Lohan blames peer pressure and a lack of "structure" for many of her mistakes, but denies ever abusing prescription drugs. The interview, which is accompanied by a photo spread, was conducted a week before the "Mean Girls" star reported for her 13-day jail sentence for violating her DUI probation. She also insists she's quote, "a completely different person now." The "Vanity Fair" issue with Lohan hits newsstands nationwide on September 7th. |
