Paul Rodgers Calls Aguilera's "All Right Now" "Rocking"
Former Free frontman Paul Rodgers is dishing on Christina Aguilera's cover of "All Right Now." Rodgers tells Spinner.com that he thought the pop star's interpretation of Free's 1970 anthem was "rocking." Rodgers adds, quote, "I loved it. I've heard some people do that, and, eh, you know -- it's quite hard to pull off, really. But she gave it some stick. It was good." Aguilera performed the rock and roll classic in concert in 2000. The track then appeared on her DVD, "My Reflection."
"All Right Now" originally appeared on "Fire and Water," Free's third studio album. The track was also heavily featured in the Oscar-winning 1999 film, "American Beauty" starring Kevin Spacey. |
