Springsteen Deluxe Set To Offer "Darkness" CD Reissue, DVD
Bruce Springsteen collectors may be in for quite a stocking stuffer this holiday season. Variety.com reports that rock and roll's "Boss" has announced the release of a deluxe set to accompany the reissue of "Darkness On The Edge Of Town." The set -- available on November 16th -- will feature three CDs and three DVDs. Included are a remastered version of 1978's "Darkness" and two additional CDs with 21 tracks from the vaults of Springsteen's career that have never been released before. Also in the set is "The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story," a feature-length documentary about the making of the album.
In related news, "The Promise" is scheduled to premiere on the big screen at the Toronto Film Festival next month. HBO will debut the film on the small screen on October 7th. |
