Alicia Keys Performs With Beyonce At MSG
Alicia Keys and Beyonce performed together for the first time Wednesday night. According to MTV.com, it happened as Keys brought her "Freedom Tour" to New York City's Madison Square Garden. She began singing the song she shares with Beyonce, "Put It In A Love Song," then Beyonce walked on stage to join her for the second half of the tune. Later, Keys' rumored boyfriend Swizz Beatz, and Beyonce's husband Jay-Z, joined Keys on stage for the track "Empire State Of Mind." One more collaboration took place during the show, as Keys' opening act, Jermaine Paul, joined her to guest on her song, "Diary." Keys actually had three opening acts at MSG -- Paul, Melanie Fiona, and Robin Thicke.
In other Alicia Keys news, the singer has just been announced as one of the performers at the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert. The show is set to take place June 10th at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg in South Africa. Keys will be joined by the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, and Shakira. |
