Glenn Frey To Headline Celebrity Fight Night
The Eagles' Glenn Frey is the headlining musical act at Celebrity Fight Night this weekend. Another music veteran -- Reba McEntire -- will serve as the evening's emcee. Also slated to entertain are R&B great Sam Moore, former "American Idol" finalist Michael Johns, and comedienne Melissa Peterman -- best known for her supporting role on McIntire's sitcom, "Reba." "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson will introduce Muhammad Ali during the ceremony, which supports a variety of causes and organizations including the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute. The 16th Annual Celebrity Fight Night will take place Saturday night at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
In related news, Frey's heading the the Hollywood Bowl next month. The Eagles will perform at the historic venue for the first time ever on April 16, 17th, and 20th. |
