E-mail Trail May Help Governor Paterson In Ethics Probe
(White Plains, NY) -- Embattled New York Governor David Paterson is betting on a high-tech paper trail to keep him out of trouble. Paterson's staff has produced e-mails that they claim show the Yankees invited him to a World Series game last fall. The controversy stems from allegations that Paterson solicited free baseball tickets. The head of the state panel looking into the ethics charges rejects the governor's claim. Paterson still insists he did nothing wrong. |
