Lee Ann Womack Likes Acting, Not Aspiring To Become An Actress
Lee Ann Womack says she likes acting. But she admits she's not going to jump at just anything simply to develop her on-screen resume.
Womack says she sees acting as another form of artistic expression for her, which she welcomes because she loves to be creative. But the singer notes that baking provides that outlet for her as well. She adds that she's always going to be a singer first, explaining, quote, "I don't want to be known as the actor-slash-musician. I want to be known as the musician who, 'Yeah, she was in a couple movies.'" Womack's acting credits include an episode of the TV series "The District" and the film "Noble Things." |
