The Whigs Find Their Sound Through Shared Experiences
The Whigs are officially a three-piece and that structure is now reflected in the band's music as well. Bassist Tim Deaux came into the fold just as The Whigs were ready to tour behind their last album, "Mission Control." Drummer Julian Dorio says their time on the road together played into the full band approach the group took on their new disc, "In The Dark."
The Whigs singer-guitarist Parker Gispart adds that touring, quote, "definitely put us in some bigger rooms and we were able to hear our music a little differently." He adds that their road experiences, quote, "definitely did play a big part in the writing of the album." The Whigs' "In The Dark" arrived in stores this week. |
