Train's Comeback Single A Surprise Hit
Train's latest single, "Hey, Soul Sister," is really fueling the band's comeback. The song has become a top ten hit, which frontman Pat Monahan admits surprises him.
"Hey, Soul Sister" is the first single from Train since 2006's "Am I Reaching You Now," which failed to chart. It's also the San Francisco-based band's first top ten hit in nearly a decade. The last Train song to crack the top tier of the U.S. pop charts was "Drops of Jupiter," which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on the Adult Top 40 chart back in 2001.
"Hey, Soul Sister" is from Train's latest CD, "Save Me, San Francisco," which hit stores last fall. The band is currently touring in support of the album. They'll perform in Lancaster, Pennsylvania tonight. |
