Wyoming County Woman Dead For A Year
(Castile, NY) -- Wyoming County authorities say a woman may have been dead up to a year before her body was discovered this month. The sheriff's department says 60-year-old Karen Bowles was found on March 2nd inside her Castile home. Authorities say she may have died in January or February of last year. Bowles was reported missing in February of last year and deputies went to the home but saw no activity from the outside. It wasn't until two weeks ago that they returned on a report from a couple looking to buy the home and entered the locked house to find the body. Neighbors say they had not seen the woman since late 2008. Foul play is not suspected.< |
