Dr. Conrad Murray's Lawyers Awaiting Court Documents
Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers are "confused." TMZ.com reports that the lawyers are wondering why they are still waiting to get their hands on investigative documents connected to the death of pop star Michael Jackson. A rep for attorney Ed Chernoff says, quote, "We remain confused by how suspiciously slow the D.A. has been in turning over the documents." The documents the lawyers have so far have already been handed over to their own experts for review. The Murray legal team received their last documents over two weeks ago and they claim to "have not received anywhere near all of it" yet. As for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, a rep there says they are turning over the"huge number" of documents as fast as they can be "copied and catalogued." Murray has been charged with manslaughter. He pleaded not guilty to the charges last month and is due back in court on April 5th. |
