Harris Buying Xerox Site In Henrietta
(Henrietta, NY) -- Xerox has found a buyer for one of its buildings in Henrietta. Harris Corp. has purchased the facility at 1350 Jefferson Road which includes more than a half million square feet of space. Harris says it will consolidate its radio making business from four sites to this one building. Xerox plans to vacate the facility by the end of September, at which time Harris will begin renovations. More than 23-hundred Harris workers will move in during the summer of 2011. Harris makes public safety and military radio systems. The company says consolidating will help them bring products to market more quickly and at a lower cost.< |
