Rochester Fire May Be Arson
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester fire officials are investigating a weekend blaze as a possible arson. Authorities say flames erupted at a vacant home on Saxton Street at about 11:45 Sunday morning. Officials say the first floor was destroyed while the second floor sustained serious damage. The fire department had to close a portion of Saxton Street while the flames were extinguished. Investigators say the blaze may have been intentionally set. The cause is under investigation. |
