Students Arrested After High School Fight
(Rochester, NY) -- Rochester police say fight at Charlotte High School resulted in an attack on a school resource officer and 17 students arrested. Authorities say just before noon Thursday, students were exiting the building for a fire alarm. That's when cops say some students were involved in a fight. Police say the resource officer tried to break it up but was allegedly hit in the back of the head and had a garbage can thrown at him. No serious injuries were reported. Police beefed up security at the school yesterday afternoon as a precaution. |
