New York Attorney General Cuomo Announces Paterson Investigator
(New York, NY) -- New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has chosen a former state judge to run investigations into possible wrongdoing by Governor David Paterson. Judge Judith Kaye will become an independent counsel, as Cuomo has removed himself from the case. The governor has been accused of accepting World Series tickets and there have been allegations state police tried to bury a domestic violence charge against one of the governor's aides. During a conference call, Cuomo told reporters a preliminary investigation has found "issues that need to be resolved." |
