Steel Magnolia Makes Record-Setting Debut
Country duo Steel Magnolia is wasting little time setting records on the Billboard charts. Their debut single, "Keep On Loving You," is number 14 on this week's Billboard Top Country Songs Chart. They are now the owners of the highest charting debut single from a male-female country duet in the 66-year history of the chart. "Keep On Loving You" is also number 12 on this week's USA Today-Country Aircheck chart. Steel Magnolia, which includes Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, is nominated in two categories at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards. They are up for Top Vocal Duo of the Year and Top New Vocal. The 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The ceremony will be broadcast live Sunday, April 18th on CBS. |
