Wayne School District Has Capital Plan Rejected
(Wayne, NY) -- It looks like elementary students in the Wayne Central School District will stay in their separate schools. A capital plan was rejected Tuesday which called for expanding the Ontario Primary School so two other elementary schools could close. The 41-million dollar plan was overwhelmingly defeated by more than two-to-one. A second proposal to build a wind turbine to help power the school district was also shot down. |
