Virginia Votes To Ban Health Insurance Mandate
(Undated) -- Virginia has become the first state in the nation to approve legislation banning the government from requiring individuals to purchase health insurance. The Virginia General Assembly gave its final approval to the measure on Wednesday. That came not long after Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell made clear that he intended to sign the legislation, should it arrive on his desk. Meanwhile, the "Washington Post" reports 34 other states are currently considering similar moves. |
