Rochester Men Sentenced In Attack On Pregnant Woman
(Rochester, NY) -- Two Rochester men will each spend 35 years behind bars for robbing, abducting and sexually assaulting a pregnant woman. Prosecutors say that was the sentence handed to 24-year-old Davon Davis and 29-year-old Dwght Fowler. Both pleaded guilty last month to the incident in Henrietta on October 6th of last year. Authorities say Davis and Fowler waited for the woman to leave a salon on Jefferson Road then abducted her at gunpoint. They forced her into her car and drove to two ATM's to steal her money before sexually assaulting her and fleeing in the car. The two were arrested minutes later when the woman freed herself and called 911. A sheriff's deputy spotted the car in Rochester. |
