Linkin Park Offering Concert Downloads
Linkin Park is continuing their fan-friendly ways by offering a new bootleg series. "LP Archives: Official Tour Bootlegs" comprises over 100 live concert recordings taped between 2007 and 2009. Drummer Rob Bourdon says, quote, "We originally decided that it would be cool to let our fans buy a recording of the show they just attended. Once we saw the positive response to that, we figured it would be even better to make all of the shows available to anyone who would like to download them. We wanted to make the highest quality recordings available to all of our fans." Linkin Park intends on launching the material at the new website downloads.linkinpark.com on March 17th. However, LP Underground fan club members already have access to the recordings, and are receiving a 25-percent discount on their purchases. Each concert retails for nine-dollars-and-99-cents, and there are bundle deals offering a free sixth concert for those who purchase five. |
