Irondequoit Man Charged With Stealing Car With Child Inside
(Rochester, NY) -- The Irondequoit man accused of stealing a van with a child inside over the weekend had his first court appearance. Prosecutors say 20-year-old James Graham was arraigned yesterday on charges including kidnapping and grand larceny. Authorities say Graham jumped into a van Saturday night in Rochester when the five-year-old girl's mother went into a store, leaving the vehicle running. Police say Graham drove a few blocks before ordering the little girl out of the van. He then allegedly led police on a ten minute chase which ended in Webster. The little girl was not hurt in the incident. |
