Greece Restaurant Remains Closed After Fire
(Greece, NY) -- A restaurant in Greece will remain closed for the beginning of this week due to a fire over the weekend. Authorities say flames broke out Saturday night around 11 PM at the Golden Ponds Restaurant. Fire officials say the blaze was sparked by an electrical problem. Investigators say the fire was contained to one of the restaurant's party rooms. Everyone inside managed to escape without injury. The restaurant will likely be closed until Wednesday. The owner says the party room where the fire broke out will take about two weeks to repair. |
