(Penfield, NY) -- A teenaged brother and sister duo has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Popeye's Chicken restaurant in Penfield, in which a worker lost an eye. Authorities say 17-year-old LaQuan Crimm and 19-year-old Shayla Fulton both of Rochester face charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny for the alleged incident on February 27th. Police say Fulton was a former employee who was recently fired and her brother allegedly approached the manager and hit him on the head with a golf club. The two then allegedly fled with cash. Twenty-four-year-old Benjamin Overmyer lost an eye and also suffered broken facial bones. Bail has been set at 25-thousand dollars. The two suspects will appear in court tomorrow morning. |
