Spandau Ballet At This Year's Isle Of Man
Spandau Ballet is part of the lineup for one of the UK's big festivals this summer. "The Belfast Telegraph" reports that the 1980s pop group is slated to perform at the Isle of Man Bay Music Festival on June 19th. The group -- which enjoyed global success with its 1983 hit "True" -- is on a roster with some newly-anointed stars in the UK. Diversity, the act that beat out Susan Boyle on 2009's "Britain's Got Talent," will also appear at Isle of Man on the 19th, as will Scottish singer-songwriter Calvin Harris and the boy band The Feeling. Regarding the booking, Spandau's Gary Kemp said, quote, "Calvin Harris and The Feeling will be hard acts to follow but following our recent tour dates, we know that we will be putting on an amazing show for fans old and new."
