Governor Paterson's Spokesman Resigns
(Albany, NY) -- Governor Paterson's Administration continues to crumble. The Governor's Director of Communications has resigned. Peter Kauffmann emailed reporters to say he could not in good conscience continue in his current position as chief spokesman. Kauffmann says as a former officer in the U.S. Navy, integrity and commitment to public service are values he takes seriously. He says he could not go forward as recent developments with the Governor came to light. Kauffmann is now the third administration official to call it quits. |
