OK Go Discuss Video Issue
OK Go is finding it more difficult to get their videos to fans. Singer Damian Kulash says their label is behind the restrictions, and it's all about money. But he notes that blocking OK Go's video output doesn't make much sense to them, given how videos have brought the group added attention.
OK Go's breakthrough was fueled with the eye catching, GRAMMY winning video to the 2006 hit "Here It Goes Again." The clip features band members performing an elaborately choreographed routine on treadmills. Despite the video dispute with their label, OK Go continues to make clips for their songs. The group just released their latest video this week, for the song "This Too Shall Pass." The clip is posted online at OKGo.net. The song is on OK Go's latest CD, "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky." |
