Despite Low Approval, Voters Say Paterson Should Not Resign
(New York, NY) -- New York State voters say Governor David Paterson should stay in office and not resign. Despite just a 24-percent approval rating in the latest Quinnipiac University poll, 61-percent of voters say Paterson should finish out his term which ends December 31st. The poll comes after a " New York Times" article that stated that Paterson was more directly involved with a woman who had made charges of domestic violence against one of Paterson's top aides. |
