Sick Puppies Not More Of "The Same"
Sick Puppies are now settling into their music careers after a massive rush of support for their "All The Same" track and video a few years back. The song and the band took off after their "Free Hugs" video for the track made it to Oprah, but they are happy to have survived the initial push and continue to make relevant music. Singer Shim Moore says, quote, "We're fortunate that we're a very hard working band and we've always been that way since before we came over to the States. And so when the 'free hugs' thing happened, we didn't really see it as any kind of deterrent. It was like, 'Well we've got something. Regardless of what it is, we've got something that making people pay attention.' While they're watching, let's hit it hard." "My World" and "What Are You Looking For" went on to showcase more of their style, and now the band is paving their way toward the sophomore set, "Tripolar," due July 14th. |
