Blues Traveler frontman John Popper underwent an angioplasty after being hospitalized in Los Angeles with chest pains. Concerns for his health prompted the group to cancel upcoming appearances for the month.

According to "The New York Post," Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson's engagement was over.
Guns N' Roses bassist Tommy Stinson made his solo concert debut at the Mercury Lounge in New York.
Great White's planned benefit tour to help the families of victims of their February concert in West Warwick, Rhode Island, was downsized and opening acts L.A. Guns and XYZ dropped because venues were requiring Great White to purchase additional insurance, which, according to a post on the L.A. Guns' website, quote, "wasn't realistic."

The Dave Matthews Band cancelled their concert in Charlotte, North Carolina because sax player LeRoi Moore was in the hospital recovering from injuries suffered a day earlier in an ATV accident. It was the first scheduled appearance the group had missed in 15 years.
Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy was arrested in St. Louis after he got into a fight with a concertgoer at the Vans Warped Tour. The scuffle occurred after an audience member yelled a racial slur at the performer during the group's set. McCoy was released from custody on 500-dollars bond, and charged with third-degree assault.
