Beastie Boys Sample Dylan
The Beastie Boys and Bob Dylan seem like an odd pairing, but the legendary vocalist may eventually turn up in the band's music. The trio tells DrownedInSound.com that Dylan is being sampled on what will eventually be "Hot Sauce Committee, Part Two." The group found Dylan praising them during an appearance on an episode of the "Theme Time Radio Hour" show, and will work the "spoken word" compliment into the disc. Their album "Hot Sauce Committee, Part One" is due September 15th, and the trio says the second part is almost finished. Ad-Rock states that the second part may also arrive in a less-traditional manner. He hints, quote, "MP3s could just rain from the sky." |
