R.E.M. "Reckon" It's Time For More Music
R.E.M. will revisit the past in several ways in the coming months. First up, is the new four-song EP, "Reckoning Songs From The Olympia," which will be offered digitally July 7th. The set includes live versions of "Harborcoat," "Letter Never Sent," "Second Guessing," and "Pretty Persuasion" from a performance at Dublin's Olympia Theatre two years ago. The EP is being issued to coincide with the band's recent 25th anniversary re-release of their classic "Reckoning" album. The EP also will serve as a precursor to a much larger two-disc live album the band has in the works for the fall. That collection also features material from the same Olympia gigs in 2007. |
